Giffin Graphics announces participation at Gulf Print and Pack 2017

           Company to showcase latest technologies and solutions for the printing industry 

Giffin Graphics, the leading solutions provider for end to end commercial, packaging and digital printing solution in the region announced their participation in the Gulf Print and Pack 2017, the leading event for commercial and packaging printers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, which will be held from March 26th to March 29th 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). During the Event, Giffin Graphics shall be showcasing the latest technological advancements and solutions in digital printing, particularly new technologies in digital cut sheet and continuous feed with a total solution approach for various industry verticals. Giffin Graphics will highlight tailor made solutions demonstrating an end-to-end print to finishing solutions, the White, Neon yellow and clear colors digital printing, workflows and variable data printing for the regional printing sector. Giffin Graphics will also be highlighting the latest in offset presses, finishing system, ink system, smart label and packaging, various print media and supplies.

The company’s senior officials have shared that their presence at this year’s Gulf Print and Pack proves to be very timely and strategic, following a recent report from Smithers Pira, the worldwide authority on the packaging, paper and print industry supply chains, forecasting that the global printing industry is expected to be valued at USD 24 billion this year. Giffin Graphics has expressed optimism about this expected growth and has noted that local growth prospects look even brighter, especially in the UAE as it prepares to host Expo 2020 and for Qatar as it prepares to host World Cup 2022.

During the event, the company will be demonstrating the latest technologies and solutions from Ricoh, which include its heavy production cut sheet machine (PRO C9100), a flexible digital cut sheet machine producing CMYK, White, Clear and Neon Yellow colors (PRO C7100X), the latest addition to the entry level machine printing 360 GSM (PRO C5200S), the latest black and white digital press (PRO 8210), latex large format 6 or 7 colors printer (PRO L4160) and the wide format printer for engineering. The company will launch the new partnership with Duplo, demonstrating Duplo's flagship booklet maker, the 600i, which is an easy to set-up booklet making system with PC-control software. Also to be showcased is the latest slitter, cutter, creaser machine, the DC646i and other finishing equipment.

Giffin Graphics will also be showcasing the latest print solutions offered by their multi-principled suppliers. The company will be presenting Agfa's most extensive range of pre-press solutions; Arjowiggin's 100% recycled fine paper; KBA's brand new half-format press and inkjet sheet-fed technology, 'Finishing 4.0 Solution,' from Muller Martini and print products from Durst's Rho WT 250 HS, the first flatbed printing system applications based on Durst Water based Technology offering optical and haptic offset printing technology on a range of coated and uncoated paper media such as displays and posters, KBA-Flexotecnica, the leaders in flexo-printing for packaging film, paper and board, JBI, Hunkeler AG, Hunkeler Systeme, Shmdet, Stago, QI, SPS, Kippax, Longer, Sun Chemical, Betz, and Baldwin and many more.
